Children are welcomed on to the retreat and have the opportunity to participate in the various Futuwwa Sports offered depending on their age. There are other facilities and options at the hotel for those children who are too young.

The key condition permitting a child's presence is that parents must bear full responsibility for their children for the duration of the retreat. In addition, all children must come with at least one parent.

Futuwwa Youth Programme (7-14 years)
A separate programme for children aged 7-14 will be provided based on a minimum number of children attending. The Futuwwa Sports include:
  • Horse Riding
  • Archery
  • BJJ (Boys only)
The classes that will take place include:
  • Etiquette
  • Calligraphy
In addition, there are various facilities for children such as games rooms, bowling, outdoor play area and so on.

Crèche

There is an unsupervised all-day indoor crèche/play area that is available for children aged three and above. However, children must be accompanied by their parents whilst in the crèche. Parents who would like to enquire about childcare services at the retreat at an additional cost to the retreat fee are welcome to enquire with the administration.

Rooms

Parents who wish to bring one or more child are required to book a full room unless there is another student on the retreat who wishes to share a room with them.

Children & Classes

Children are not permitted in classes. Whilst we will make every effort to ensure that the brothers' timetable doesn't overlap with the sisters' timetable, parents would be required to take it in turns to look after their children where this is the case (e.g. the Spirituality classes after Fajr and Maghrib). Please contact the administration if you would like further information regarding the timetable.
